I am able to run this distro on my IBM Intellistation, but I am unable to boot if the installation DVD is not present in the Drive. Can someone suggest me a solution?

I have a problem after successful installation, computer is not booting, not even giving darwin prompt. It keeps blinking cursor. Nothing else. Pls help me out in this.
